Storage with a clear next step

Tell us why the goods need storage, the expected period and how they will move out. Short-term holding between transport legs and a planned later release need different arrangements. Storage conditions, space and handling requirements are confirmed before goods are accepted.

Pack for the route and the cargo

Fragile, high-value and unusually shaped goods need the packing plan discussed early. Share photos, dimensions, weight and any handling restrictions so protective packing or crating requirements can be reviewed. The agreed packing method belongs in the quote.

Coordinate collection and release

Identify who can hand over the goods and who may receive them on release. Include piece counts, visible condition information and the onward address. Shipment-level references keep storage and handling instructions connected to the correct consignment.

Prepare your enquiry

Send what you have now. The team confirms any further information needed for your particular shipment.

  • Goods description, piece count and packed size

Questions before you ship

Is temperature-controlled storage available?

Do not assume a special storage condition is available. State the temperature or other requirement in your enquiry and wait for written confirmation of a suitable arrangement.

Can packing be quoted separately?

Describe the goods and the transport leg the packing needs to protect. The team can review a packing or crating enquiry and confirm the scope, materials and handling arrangements.

What if I need regular stock releases?

Describe the expected piece counts, stock references, release frequency and authorised receiving contacts. Include any inventory or picking requirements so the team can review the handling scope and agree a suitable arrangement.
